A couple of the keystone projects included the piece outside by Dennis Oppenheim  and the foyer sculpture by Ralph Helmick. It’s waiting to be installed sometime in the next couple of weeks. The working title is ‘floating/falling’. She comissioned 3 illustrations to accompany the essay  about an alumn that had battled bi-polar disorder most of her adult life.  She passed away in her 40’s from cancer and bequeathed her writing to Middlebury.</p> <p>She worked on the poems and returned to them again and again over the years but never sought to publish them.  They are really lovely, dark and moving. This article represents the first time they have been shared publicly and it was an honor to be apart of her first publication.
